Sehati Berdansa sebuah reality show yg telah bermula minggu lalu pada 10 Nov 2007 (sabtu-9pm). Ia mengetengahkan 8 pasangan suami isteri yg akan menunjukkan tarian masing2 setelah diajar oleh jurutari mereka.

Sistem pemarkahan diadili oleh juri profesional dan juga markah undi SMS peminat. Pada awal sebelum persembahan pertama dibuat, undian SMS telahpun dibuka kepada peminat. dan didapati Anne Ngasri dan pasangannya menduduki tempat teratas.

Leia's 3months old now!

Finally,our only daughter Syarifah Aleiyah Syed Ahmad is now 3months old!our lil' sweetheart's getting smarter n smarter each day.but today she was a bit not in da mood to smile as she always does.

Walaupun syawal gagal memasuki final AF5 yang akan berlangsung minggu depan 19may2007, tapi beliau telahpun mempamerkan persembahan yang memuaskan sepanjang konsert. Lagu 'Copacabana' merupakan lagu persembahan solo syawal di konsert ini dan lagu duet dengan Candy 'Menari denganku'. I really didn't expect him to be eliminated. Anyway,'GO GO SYAWAL'...... 'A GO GO'!!!

Direct Selling…Beware! (sewing machine in kk)!

This happened yesterday (13th April 2007) 'Friday the 13th'!!! It was in the afternoon when a salesman came by to our house in kepayan ridge,kk. The weather was horrific!very hot! The bell rang and there were just the 3 of us ladies in the house. My sis went out and approaches this guy at the gate. They were talking under the damn hot sun!(can u imagine that!) He then explained to her that he had approach my other sister last few months back. And it was in the month of December. He wanted to give a short demonstration of the use of their product. “R”. And not forgetting telling us that the day was the last day of their product’s promotion! While explaining his goods, he did ask for a glass of water. So my mom got him one. (Well, just a glass of water….and it was hot though)…pity him…

I was just watching them from inside the house, while both of them out there. My mom was quite interested in having a short demonstration of this particular product. So they agreed to pay him RM5 for the cost of their plain fabric. (and it was a jeans fabric).

The guy ‘B’ came back to us with the machine ‘R’ and was invited in. I was not feeling that good having a stranger in the house but he’s kinda small in size. Hehe…

The thing that did not really make myself feeling that good was when he straight searching for the restroom. I had an experience where my housemate was hypnotized by a salesman by doing these 2 things…

It was quite a famous way of hypnotizing buyers at home. Did any of you realize this? Try and think back. They could make you withdrawn an amount of money in a short while. They even offer to accompany you to the ATM for the payment! Scary isn’t it!

Back to this ‘B’ guy, after finished doing his business in the restroom, he then started sewing and sewing, watched by my mom and sister while I was in the room eavesdropping. Few minutes later, my husband came back home from sembahyang jumaat (Friday prayer). That made us all a bit relief having a guy at home. But what made my hubby a bit suspicious was this ‘B’ guy didn’t even look at him even a glance!

I went out and have a look at his demonstration at last! Well, he’s a young aged boy. He told my mom that he had applied to further his studies at Politeknik kk. But while I was alone with this boy, he said that he’s studying there now. What a different story we’ve got. And he even said that his father is a policeman and mother a teacher. These points will surely make anyone’s trusting higher on you. Well but not to me! …..(To be continued..)

Food Facts – APPLES.

You know how the saying goes, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. Well, apples are so nutritious that we think it deserves that reputation! And the great thing is, there are so many types to choose from that there’s bound to be one you’ll like. The apples that are commonly found in our supermarkets include the Red Delicious (mildly sweet, crunchy and great in salads), Fuji (super-sweet and crisp), Granny Smith (green in colour, tart and great for baking) and Gala (sweet, aromatic and perfect as a snack). Apples contain flavonoids (which reduce the risk of certain cancers), antioxidants (helps lower the risk of respiratory diseases) and dietary fiber (aids digestion and promotes weight loss). And for those watching their weight, apples have almost zero fat and cholesterol!

A new study suggests that a woman's periods not only cause cramps and pouty behaviour but can also impede her ability to work. Canadian researchers found that women who reported heavier periods were only 72% as likely to have been working during the week prior to the interview as women with normal periods. The study did not discern whether the women missed work only during their period or whether such women were somehow less likely to hold down jobs altogether. But the researchers calculations, the average woman with heavy periods might lose 3.6 weeks of work a year, which could cost her or her employer $1,700 annually - something to really pout about.

Duduk dalam keadaan sunyi dan termenung mengosongkan fikiran buat seketika sangat baik dilakukan oleh setiap orang. Ketika itu banyak idea-idea baru dan inspirasi dating menerjah fikiran.

Menenangkan Fikiran.
Dunia hari ini sangat kompleks dan mencabar. Adakalanya ia membuatkan kita tidak mempunyai masa untuk melihat diri sendiri. Kita juga tidak tahu bagaimana mahu menjaga fikiran dan kerap mengabaikan waktu dan masa untuk mengisi semangat kehidupan. Pada hal caranya agak mudah deangn hanya duduk dalam bilik diam-diam, pejamkan mata dan tumpukan fikiran. Rasai kesunyian itu dengan sepenuh hati dan selepas itu pastinya anda berasa tenang.

Kita sering mencari waktu untuk berhibur. Banyak perkara lain yang perlu diuruskan dan menghalang anda untuk berhibur. Kita sering menganggap pergi ke disko dan kelab malam adalah cara berhibur. Namun tahukah anda cara demikian tidak begitu berkesan kerana meluangkan masa sejenak dan menyepi adalah lebih baik daripada keluar berfoya-foya.

Penawar Diri.
Kadangkala ada sesetengah orang yang kerap melenting dan marah kerana rasa tertekan. Biarpun mendapat rehat fizikal yang cukup, mereka gagal menenangkan diri. Kerap kali ia terdorong berlaku masalah perasaan seperti panas baran dan pemarah. Menyendiri adakalanya sangat baik untuk membantu menghilangkan rasa panas baran dan marah itu.
